Eight lessons on finding the prices a market keeps turning at, drawing them as bands you can see, and clearing off every line that has stopped earning its place.
Eight lessons. A chart with four lines on it, and a reason for every one.
Support and resistance is the first thing a beginner is taught and the first thing they overdo. Twenty lines go on the chart in a week, half of them drawn on a candle that happened once, and the chart ends up so busy that no level stands out at all.
This course is about restraint. How to find the prices a market has turned at more than once, why a level is a band of price with width to it, what a round number is worth and where that worth runs out, how a broken level behaves afterwards, and how to clear a chart down to the few lines you would act on.
The beginner: taught to draw levels and never told when to stop.
The trader with a cluttered chart: carrying twenty lines and acting on none of them.
The reader on a phone: who needs a level to stay visible at the size the screen gives.
